Cutting the Fabric
We are using the Happy-Sewing Sophia Sewing Pattern to make these swimsuits. We cut one front piece and one back piece for the swimsuit. We cut out the same for the lining.
The fabric we are using is Lycra, a fabric that is made for swimwear.
The Lycra fabric is slippery, so fasten the pattern with pins and be careful while cutting. Please don't put any heat on the Lyca fabric. If you try to press it, It will melt, and the swimsuit will be ruined, leaving a mess at the same time.
